I've taken off a couple of days of work to take part in a ladies church retreat. We left the Ferguson Heights Church of Christ this morning at 9 AM and arrived in Excelsior Springs, Missouri around 2 pm. Had an outing last night, and I saw Wanted. The cast: Morgan Freeman, Angelia Jolie, Common (one of my favorite rapper-turned-actors). It did not disappoint. I'm in the second week of a walking challenge at my job. We each have to record our steps using pedometers provided by the company, BJK People's Health Centers. Then, after about 12 weeks, the number of steps for each team of 5 will be tallied. So far, I've been averaging about 3,000 steps a day.
